New Featured Product – Deaths Head – Supremacy cd

Released by PC Records / Fresh from Australia, this work is coming to us across the pond! You don’t really need to say much about Jesse and his boys. Since their debut in 2001, they have been known for well-made Metal! This disc connects seamlessly to it, whereby I mean, a certain core edge has been added. Maybe it is also due to the 2 Hungarian musicians who carved this disc in stone ;-)! In any case, the help was noticeably good, because the result was 10 crushers, which are really fun! In terms of quality, Deaths Head never had a dropout! The whole thing is packed in an 8-page booklet, which contains all the texts! Great part!

Featured Item – Iron Youth – Respect, Defend, Create

Originally released in 2001 by Resistance Records in the US, Respect, Defend Create was the second and I think the best release by Greek Band Iron Youth. The style of the cd was a straightforward metal sound with NS lyrical content that was a part of the metal/RAC crossover that was popular at the time.

You can find the album in our store here. I also found a largely pointless interview with the band from 2007 here.

New/ Featured CD – Sons of Odin – Odins Demolition Crew

We’ve just added this cd to our store. Sons of Odin is a new project by Canadian vocalist Griffin. Known for his role in such bands as Stonehammer and Aryan, Griffin has been active in the music scene for decades. This time teaming up with Hungarian band Hundriver to deliver a fresh sounding classic RAC style album. While not delivering any shocking surprises this album fits comfortably into the RAC genre and will a welcome addition to the collections of and stalwarts of the scene and those who are fans of the tradiotional skinhead oriented style. Probably Griffins best release in recent years.

New/Featured Cd – KT8 – Winteress

We’ve just added this to the store. It’s rare that something a little different comes along. Here we have the familiar musical style of Roy of Final War (and numerous other musical projects) fronted by a female lead vocalist. Music and vocals suit each other and this cd is a solid effort. Personally one of Roy’s best most recent projects in my opinion. The only down side for me is that the lyrical content was sometimes a little too esoteric and heavy for the style of music it was delivered in, but that’s just me. Here’s what some other random internet person had to say –

“This was a great album. It has a lot of different layers that really make it unique. Just on a purely musical level, the energy is great. KT8 is one of those singers who can make you feel the passion she has for what she’s singing about. Roy and Paul are at the top of their game, bringing their signature sound but with enough original twists on their style, that long time fans *need* to hear it.

If you’ve seen any of KT8’s interviews for the album, she is doing a lot of unique tributes to genres of music she likes and her favorite artists, which you could break down track by track. I pretty much only listen to punk, so I probably didn’t catch all of these but it’s still cool. Even with all of the different styles, the tracks transition seamlessly. You could easily play this one straight through and never be bored. She’s put a lot of interesting historical and mystical references in and after a first listen, you should definitely slow down and search some of the things in the lyrics and read up on them online. Pretty one of a kind album, overall.” BaldrSunn March 22, 2020

Though it might defeat the purpose of posting about the cd here, we’ll add this video to the post. Posted online by KT8 this is the full album on youtube. We figure, if the band see’s fit to let people hear their full album for free online, who are we to argue. We will remind everyone though that physical music sales support bands, lables and the movement and keep new music coming out.
Overall we think this cd is a solid effort and we are happy to help promote it here

New Titles and Restocked Titles

*update – since this was posted we have sold out of Deaths Head – Krieglied on CD. Hopefully we will get more copies soon, though this might not be possible. For those interested we also have the album in LP format.

We’ve added and replenished some new titles. First up we have WHITE FORCE – Sentries of the Blood. This is a limited edition CD Ep release from a new Aussie RAC/Hatecore project, and well worth a listen.

Second we have restocked the 2008 WW2 concept album Kriegslied from Australian metal stalwarts DEATHS HEAD. The band spoke about the album at length back when it was released, you can read the article here.
